Refund Policy - the basics
At Sealior, each shawl is handmade from 100% Thai silk on heirloom looms. We take great care in quality and packaging, and we want you to feel confident in your purchase.
1) Returns (Change of Mind)
We accept returns for eligible items within 14 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return:
The item must be unused, unwashed, unaltered, and in the same condition as received
It must be returned with all original packaging, tags, and any included materials
The item must be free from perfume, smoke, deodorant, makeup, or other odors/stains
If the return is approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Non-returnable (Change of Mind) items:
Custom or personalized orders (including special sizing, bespoke colors/pattern requests)
2) Exchanges
If you’d prefer an exchange (e.g., for a different color/pattern), please contact us within 14 days of delivery. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
If the new item costs more, you’ll pay the difference; if it costs less, we’ll refund the difference.
3) Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:
Your order number
Clear photos of the item and packaging (including the shipping label, if possible)
We will offer one of the following, depending on the situation:
A replacement (if available)
A repair (where feasible)
A full refund (if replacement/repair isn’t possible)
4) Natural Variation in Handmade Silk
Because each Sealior shawl is handmade using traditional weaving techniques, slight variations in texture, weave, and pattern placement are part of the craft and are not considered defects. We do our best to display colors accurately, but screen settings may cause minor differences.
5) Return Shipping & Fees
For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs and any applicable duties/taxes.
For damaged/defective/incorrect items, Sealior will cover return shipping where required, or provide a prepaid label.
We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method. Sealior is not responsible for returns lost in transit.
6) Refund Timing
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection. If approved:
Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days
Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the refund
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item) or a verified defect.

8) Chargebacks & Disputes
If you have an issue with your order, please contact us first—most concerns can be resolved quickly. Unresolved disputes may delay future service and eligibility for returns.
