Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Policies (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Sealior’s website and services, and any purchases you make from Sealior (“Sealior,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1) About Sealior Products

Sealior shawls are handmade from 100% Thai silk using traditional weaving techniques. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, minor variations in weave, texture, and pattern placement may occur and are part of the craft, not defects. Product photos are intended to be accurate; however, colors may vary slightly based on lighting and screen settings.

2) Eligibility & Account Responsibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to purchase from our site. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining its confidentiality and for all activity under your account.

3) Orders, Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are shown in [currency] and may change without notice.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order due to suspected fraud, payment issues, inventory errors, or other reasonable circumstances.

  • In the event of an incorrect price or listing error, we may cancel the order and issue a refund.

4) Shipping (From Thailand) & Delivery

Sealior ships from Thailand and may ship internationally. Delivery estimates shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees, and may be affected by customs processing, carrier delays, weather, or peak periods.

International duties & taxes: Import duties, VAT, customs fees, and brokerage charges may apply depending on your country and are typically the customer’s responsibility, unless we explicitly state otherwise.

5) Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Returns are accepted for eligible items within 14 days of delivery, provided items are unused, unwashed, unaltered, and returned in original condition with packaging.

Custom/personalized items and final sale items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number.

6) Cancellations & Order Changes

If you need to cancel or change your order, contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has shipped, we may not be able to cancel it or change the delivery address.
 

7) Promotions & Gift Cards

Promotions may be time-limited and subject to additional terms. Gift cards (if offered) are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless required by law.

8) Intellectual Property

All content on the Sealior website—including text, images, product designs, graphics, logos, and brand elements—is owned by Sealior or licensed to Sealior and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit any content without written permission.

9) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or customer data

  • Interfere with site security or performance

  • Post or transmit harmful code or abusive content

10) Privacy

We respect your privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information (including for order fulfillment, customer support, and marketing where permitted).

11) Third-Party Services

Our site may use third-party services (e.g., payment processors, shipping carriers, analytics tools). These providers have their own terms and privacy practices. Sealior is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

12) Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The website and services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the site.

  • Handmade variations and minor cosmetic differences are not defects.

13) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sealior will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, arising from your use of the site or purchase of products. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these may not apply to you.

14) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Sealior harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the website.

15) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to conflict of law principles. Where permitted, disputes will be resolved in the courts located in [Bangkok / your province], Thailand.

16) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
